Powerpoint

This week we have been learning powerpoint. I have actually used powerpoint many times in the past and thought I was very familiar with it, but I was wrong. Going over it in class this week I have discovered many fun things. I love putting music on it and I also found hyperlinking to be very useful, especially if you need something online for your presentation. Powerpoint is a clean, organized, and great way to put presentations together.

Students could benefit from using this in elementary school. Most of them will have to use it in high school and becoming familiar with it at a young age will help them be successful in later classes. I think students will have so much fun playing around creating slides. They can pick the layout and different colors to make it their's. I think they will also have a blast learning how to add photos and do these presentations on their own. Students will be learning technology and making their skills better while having fun. I want to teach my students powerpoint to make presentation assignments much easier for them. I plan to incourporate it into my classroom in the future. Powerpoint is great!
